On February 20, 2020, China's national Protestant seminary released a delay notice of the undergraduate program entrance exam.

The examination was supposed to be held in Nanjing Union Theological Seminary from March 12 to 13, but will be postponed. The exact date is still unknown.

The school reminded the students to prepare for the exam as well as take protective measures against the coronavirus outbreak.

Founded in 1952 as the only national seminary of China, Nanjing Union Theological Seminary has trained more than 2,000 full-time theological graduates, over 200 post-graduates for further pastoral education, and over 6,400 students who attended correspondence courses, from 1981 when it was reopened to 2016.
