On April 23, World Book Day, China’s national Protestant seminary offered to give out 16,000 free books.

The Textbook was compiled by Nanjing Union Theological Seminary in 1980. It is a Christian publication which serves pastors, volunteers, and laypersons in the areas of Biblical studies, sermons, devotions, and faith development, according to the seminary.

Yan Xiyu, the editor-in-chief of Textbook writes, "For our forty-year journey, we should more give thanks for God's rich and abundant love. 'These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.'" (Deuteronomy 2:7)

Everyone is able to get two volumes with free shipping. This is a free gift to aid church pastoral ministries during the coronavirus outbreak.
