After the relevant governments’ approval, three churches in different provinces announced the recent resumptions of onsite gatherings on their official WeChat accounts after the Lunar New Year, the grandest festival in China.

Guangyin Church in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on Tuesday said that churchgoers could attend the resumed gatherings starting from February 17, showing church venue code, itinerary code, and negative COVID-19 nucleic acid test conducted within 48 hours, with their temperature measured.

On the same day, Hangzhou Chongyi Church in Zhejiang Province reminded its members to book their places for the services due to resume from that day on. The church issued a notice of baptism registration on Easter 2022 and a catechism class, stating that those who are convinced of their salvation and have attended the church services for more than one year could register from February 13 to March 13.

On February 16, Huayu Road Church in Ma'anshan, Anhui Province, announced the continuation of in-person services from the upcoming Sunday, telling believers that the health code, itinerary code or ID card would be checked when entering the church.
