Mother’s love is warm and gentle, then father’s love is uncompromising. Behind this kind of love, it is a deep desire to be a good father the moment he becomes a father.

It is no easy to be a good father. Our reality demand so much for it and, unfortunately, it becomes a pressure. As Christians, a father needs to seek for wisdom in the Bible.

Below is 10 helpful Scriptures to be a good father.

As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; (Psalm 103:13)

Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. (Psalm 127:3)

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. (Proverbs 3:11-12)

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. (3 John 4)

Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. (Proverbs 22:6 )
