The famous Chinese producer and actress Fan Bingbing was tapped to be one of the Cannes' jury on the festival next month.
According to a report, there are eight jury members and they will serve under the Spanish director named Pedro Almodovar who is directly serves as the jury president for the 70th Cannes Film Festival.
"I'm grateful for the recognition from Cannes in choosing me to be a juror," Fan Bingbing reportedly stated. "The film festival is the greatest sacred palace of film art, and I'm honored to be one of the jurors of its 70th edition. I do have pressure on me, but this is also a precious opportunity to learn, and to see the best films of the world for a year. I will seriously fulfill my job as a juror."
Fan rose to fame after her mega-hit series titled "My Fair Princess." Since then she has starred in to several notable and famous films and series. He was also selected for Time 100 this 2017.
