Winter Wonderland: International Ice and Snow Festival Officially Opens in Harbin, China

China's city, Harbin has been transformed again for the coolest annual tradition of the year. For the 34th time, the Chinese city has been turned into a magical winter wonderland for the most famous International Ice and Snow Festival.

According to a report on January 10, more than 10,000 workers put their effort together in order to achieve the magical tourist attraction.

The icy magical attraction spreads out over to 800,000 square meters. The said ice festival officially opens on Friday, January 5 and is scheduled to last for a month. Exhibits on the festival will be opened soon if the weather permits, a Chinese local media outlet reported.

Organizers also expect around 1.5 million people to gather and visit the said snow festival this year.
