Shanghai Disney Resort: Lowest price in all Disney parks in the world

Shanghai Disney Resort has claimed that its ticket prices for Disneyland is the lowest of all 12 Disney parks and six resorts in the world.

Ticket prices are set at 499 yuan ($75) for the grand opening period of the Shanghai Disneyland on June 16-30, 2016 while the regular price is only 370 yuan. Shanghai’s regular price for a one-day ticket is lower compared to Hong Kong, which priced is at 539 yuan and the Disneyland in Tokyo, Japan is at 374 yuan. 

For high-demand dates, including chosen holidays, summer holidays and weekends, price is set at 499 yuan. Special pricing will be provided to categorized guests: children (1.4m and below), senior (65 years old and above) and persons with disabilities will get discounts of 25 percent while infants (1m and below will receive free admission. A two-day ticket will be accessible at a five percent discount. 

Tickets for Shanghai's Disneyland will be on sale on March 28, 2016 and on the same date, guests can obtain information on tickets through several official channels.

Shanghai's Disneyland will have its grand opening day on June 16, 2016 since the three 6’s on the said date are believed to be promising, indicating success.

All tickets will be date-specific and valid for admission only on the date purchased.

It has been known that the project has been under construction for more than six years now.
