South Korean actor and "Descendants of the Sun" male lead Song Joong Ki has a new big drama offer. The Hallyu star is being courted to headline the upcoming Chinese-Korean drama entitle "You, The Scent of Love" (not yet the final title).
On Saturday, July 9, Chinese media outlet are quick to report that Song is receiving lots of love calls from various projects in China. Specifically, Song has been named to be the possible leading actor on the Korean-Chinese production, Soompi reported.
While nothing is confirmed yet, the 30-year-old actor will most likely to act along famous Chinese actress Zheng Shuang in the drama. The said drama is reported to be produced by NEW.
"Aside from 'Battleship Island,' no other projects have been confirmed," Blossom Entertainment in a press statement obtained by All K-pop. [Song Joong Ki] is currently receiving a lot of offers from both Korea and China but he hasn't decided on any project. We have to look more carefully into the offer from 'You, the Scent of Love."
A representative from his agency, Blossom Entertainment added that the hallyu star is yet to decide in his new project, noting that the Chinese debut will have to wait as he still focus on his film "Battleship Island."
