Things are going well for MBC's new drama "W" which stars model and actor Lee Jong Suk alongside Han Hyo Joo. According to a report, ratings for the said third episode of the drama has surpassed the drama which stars best friend of Lee, Kim Woo Bin's "Uncontrollably Fond."

According to a report of All Kpop, "W" has captured the interest of drama goers with its unique storyline and good-looking casts. The said drama's episode one debuted with 8.6 percent viewership ratings and 9.5 percent on the second episode. On the third episode on July 27, it went up to 12.9 percent while "Uncontrollably Fond" garnered only 8.6 percent for the same airing date.

Kim Woo Bin's drama "Uncontrollably Fond" was anticipated to hit like "Descendants of the Sun" because according to a report, the KBS2 drama followed the same filming strategy and production by "Descendants of the Sun". The episodes were all pre-filmed too and are currently shown in China simultaneously.

However, it appears that "W" of MBS has been gaining a lot of attention within just three episodes. The drama features a love story between a webtoon character, Kang Chul (Lee Jong Suk) and a real person, surgeon daughter of the creator of Lee's character, Oh Yeon Jo (Han Hyo Joo).
