Changle Chengguan Church in Fuzhou, Fujian, was first established in 1906 by the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions as the Jesus Salvation Church. Its newly dedicated building, completed in 2024, was designed by INUCE, a Swiss-based architecture and development firm led by principal designer Dr. Dirk U. Moench. Featuring a modern, pillarless design that integrates Chinese motifs with Western church elements, the 800-square-meter sanctuary includes a 28-meter-high bell tower and seats over 1,000 worshippers. Centered on the concept of the "Light of Reverence" (敬仰之光), the lighting design meets functional needs while deepening the sacred atmosphere. This photo collection highlights the solemn beauty of the church's interior.
