In celebration of the annual Double Ninth Festival, the Gospel Times editorial team gathered to reflect on their experiences visiting churches across various regions in recent years. They discussed effective practices that churches have implemented to care for and lead their elderly believers, helping them bear fruit even in old age and “stay fresh and green.”

Regarding the pastor-caring situation in Chinese churches, the editorial team of the Gospel Times discusses the current challenges Chinese churches face in caring for their pastors, shares successful experiences from various regions, and explores the future of pastor-caring ministries within Chinese churches.

Dedicated in June 2019, the Christian Church in Jingdezhen, China Porcelain Capital, features unique porcelain elements throughout its design, referencing the city’s rich cultural tradition.

After three years of the pandemic, the churches in China were able to celebrate Christmas with believers and seekers in person this year.

Despite COVID-19, churches across China held in-person Christmas Eve celebrations on December 24.
