Theological education is essential, as it directly relates to the cultivation of church talent. The theological talents nurtured by the Chinese church not only needs to have a solid foundation in theology, but must also be able to integrate with China's social and cultural realities, in order to shepherd the Lord's flock on Chinese soil.

A training session for teachers specializing in Church History and Homiletics at Chinese theological seminaries was held in Bijie, Guizhou Province.

The re-election meeting of the Board of Trustees of Nanjing Union Theological Seminary was held in Shanghai.

Anhui Theological Seminary held the third training course to enhance teacher’s teaching skills.

Suk Yi Pang, a commissioner with the World Council of Churches Commission on Ecumenical Education and Formation, is from the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China. In a video interview, she reflects on forming the next generation of ecumenical leaders. The commission met at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, in June.

Linfen Christian Training Center was established and inaugurated on July 4.
