From 20 July – 24 July 2024, a global delegation from the World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) and the World Chinese Christianity Alliance–our affiliated organization that serves Chinese Christians all over the world visited China to learn about the state of Christianity in China and rekindle ties with with key leaders of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) and the China Christian Council (CCC).

Following their visit to Beijing and Jiangsu, a delegation of nine from the World Evangelical Alliance visited CCC&TSPM. The two sides talked about each other's work and discussed issues about global Christianity.

The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gaetan Roy as its new Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva. He will build on the strong foundation established by his predecessor, Michael Mutzner, who was instrumental in establishing the office in 2012 and had since led the efforts of serving as an evangelical voice especially at the UN Human Rights Council.
