CCC&TSPM issued a call for papers prior to Bible Day of this year, whose theme is “Put the Bible into Practice.”

On November 11, CCC&TSPM issued a notice encouraging believers to share stories of how Bible verses have inspired them and how they have put the teachings of the Bible into practice. This includes providing testimony through positive actions in the workplace, speaking words of kindness, performing good deeds, expressing love for God and others, and bearing witness to changes in their lives.

Featuring the sinicization of Christianity and having been held separately in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Fuzhou, and Shanghai, the past four years of Bible Day events encompassed activities including transcribing, reading, singing, and drawing the Bible.

In the early 1990s, CCC&TSPM set the second Sunday (including Saturday) in December as Bible Day for Chinese churches, aiming to awaken Chinese Christians to attach importance to bible reading, support the Bible ministry, and care for impoverished people’s needs of the Bible. Relevant activities, such as services, seminars on theology or the Bible, exhibitions of Bible-themed paintings and calligraphy, theme concerts, prayer meetings, and special offerings, are conducted accordingly.
