"Gods ALWAYS faithful and in control" -- Jeremy Lin's tweet on Oct. 19 sounded like it was a happy or match win day for the Brooklyn Nets guard.

However, it was the opposite.

On that day, the Christian basketball player encountered one of the greatest setbacks of his career: his tumble led to a patella tendon rupture in his right knee, a rare injury, in the team's season opener against the Indiana Pacers. When his teammates asked about his condition, he said repeatedly, "I'm done, I'm done..." He immediately showed pain after moving his knee slightly and cried. The injury officially ended his new NBA season and made it impossible to straighten his knee.

Compared to a bone fracture, the rapture might do more damage to his career. It might cost him several times more efforts than normal people need to recover.

Two days later, he posted his picture with his coach after a surgery mending the rapture and commented, "THANKS for all the love!! Foreal I've been blown away w the support! The road to recovery starts now ... peep the sexy hat lol."

Many people prayed for him. On Oct. 20, when he had surgery, he sent a prayer request to the prayer team. It read, "I'm thankful that God has given me the tremendous peace in one of the most devastating times of my life. I'll be the first to say this peace isn't from me. " Facing the season he would miss and the future recovery road, he also asked the team to "pray that I wouldn't lose sight of my calling". He concluded with an expectation and faith, " I can't wait to see what God will teach me through this chapter of my life and what He will do in the future!!"

On Tuesday he stated, "Thank for all who care me. I have received your blessings. I always know that I am not fighting alone!"
