On Jan 15, 2017, Xiamen Dongbu Church held a ground-breaking ceremony marking the start of construction work on the church with investing over 100 million. This is the first church in the eastern area of Xiamen. According to statistics, there are over 10,000 believers in this area.
Xiamen CCC&TSPM applied to the Bureau of Ethnic and Religious Affairs of Xiamen In 2007. After four attempts to select a site, they've been granted permits to build the holy temple in the area of Lvlinglu. The fellow workers of Xiamen Church said that the completion of the church would greatly satisfy the needs of believers in worship, praise, and living fellowship lives. It would also become beautiful scenery in Xiamen.
