Eight sisters from the Hannah Group of Deshang Church in Shenyang visited the Shenyang Municipal Child Welfare House, taking 500 RMB and some gifts.
Hannah Group was formed by a group of mothers who always get together to pray for their children. They felt that, instead of just praying for their own, they should also care for those that have lost their parents.
The Shenyang Municipal Child Welfare House mainly takes in abandoned children or those with disabilities. It was built in 1985 and covers an area of 12.63 acres with 3.46 acres of building area. The Shenyang Municipal Government invested over 15 million RMB to build a rehabilitation building for children covering 1.24 acres in 2001.
