On June 5, 2017, the third Bible study workshop for church staff in Jiangsu kicked off in Jiangsu Theological Seminary, co-held by Jiangsu CCC&TSPM, the United Bible Societies (UBS) and Singapore Sizong Chinese Church. Seventy local church workers attended.

Positive feedback was given for the past two Bible study workshops, conducted in 2014 and 2016.
Zhou Xianzheng, the Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Church of Singapore, said that we should value talent cultivation and inner quality enhancement, and that God's servants should pay attention to what God wants to say in the Bible rather than what we like to preach.

Rev. Zhang Keyun, chairman of Jiangsu TSPM and the seminary president, claimed that the workshop was a rare opportunity. He hoped that the attendees could understand the significance of studying the Bible deeply and be examples for theological undergraduates.

During the five-day workshop, lectures on the books of Galatians and Ruth were given by two pastors. A communication meeting between pastoral staff and theological students also took place.
