"Olive Branch", a Christian band of post-90s men and women, released a Biblical short film titled "Jesus Came for Sin III."

Though the film comes from a familiar story, the band's efforts and pains give a new life to it. The film shows that not everyone who says, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of the Father in heaven. Men's sins can't be cleansed through assemblies, sacrifices, prayer, evangelism, morality or good deeds.

One of the villains in the film shouts, "We kept your laws in mind and have never disobeyed them. If you want our hearts, we'll give them to you immediately." His intense emotion reflects the attitude of modern believers: Why don't they deserve to enter the kingdom of heaven since they have done everything? They exchange what they do as a ticket for heaven from God.

Matthew 9:13 plainly claims, "But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.'" Foolish people, do you know that God detests our self-righteousness?

Brother Lv, the band leader, said, "The disobedience of people doesn't need to be shown deliberately, but is the fruit of their character and their nature. Because all live in the poison of sins and are born with a sinful nature, there is nothing else to be said. Without the protection of the cross we can't survive in the world. We know that the cross gave us the inspiration so that we can be witnesses for it to let more people return to the way of the cross, because salvation is found in no one else."
