Feng'en Church on Changxing Island, Chongming District, Shanghai was dedicated on September 25, 2017. The district's whole pastoral staff and more than 500 Christians attended the dedication service.
The service was presided over by Rev. Chen Meijin, director of the Chongming District CCC&TSPM. Elder Chen Zhimin, secretary general of the Shanghai CCC&TSPM, preached a sermon entitled "Where the House of God Is."
The church construction was started on June 14, 2014 and completed on June 18, 2016. With floorspace of 3 mu (0.494 acres) and a construction area of 980 square meters (0.242 acres), the church can seat 600 people. The Gothic-style church became a local Christian landmark.
