Shanghai Christians Join in Charity Campaigns on World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day

On May 8, 2018, the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, 21 Christian volunteers joined in a charity run and a bazaar organized by the government of Yangpu District, Shanghai.

According to the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, they participated in the run on behalf of four local organizations. The volunteers were from the "Source of Love" Charity Station affiliated with the CC&TSPM of Yangpu District.

The 2017 music program sponsored by the center aimed to help patients reduce mental stress was awarded one of the "outstanding volunteer programs" awards by the Shanghai branch of the Red Cross Society of China in January 2018.
