On May 21, 2018, the Moody Bible Institute's Men's Collegiate Choir gave a performance at Fuzhou megachurch along with its director H. E. Singley III. More than 2,000 believers watched it.

The Moody Bible Institute was founded by an American evangelist Dwight Lyman Moody in Chicago in 1886.

Knowing that Huaxiang Church has been the first Chinese church to own a large pipe organ, Singley and the seven choir members immediately flew to Fuzhou.

The choir sang a dozen well-known hymns including A Mighty Fortress is Our God, Holy, Holy, Holy, and Amazing Grace, and played piano solos and organ solos of world famous pieces.

The whole congregation sang the hymn To God Be the Glory under the organ accompaniment by Singley. The concert concluded with the benediction made by Rev. Chen Lifu, the church's senior pastor.
