On August 17, 2018, Xinfang Church of Yangxiang Town, Yixing, Jiangsu, held a financial aid activity in cooperation with a local Taoist temple.
Twelve poor students received financial aid worthy of 9,000 yuan, most of whom have families with sick or disabled members.
The church has cared for financially advantaged students for over ten years, developing from one-on-one poverty alleviation efforts to comprehensive support. It has made donations of over 60,000 yuan for the past couple of years.
