Affected by the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, two churches in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, announced the suspensions of in-person gatherings, reminding their members to attend the gatherings virtually.
From October 22 to 23, Hohhot City successively reported one suspected case and two positive cases associated with the local area outside the city, according to the Hohhot Command Center for COVID-19 Control and Prevention.
On October 23, West Hailar Road Church in Hui District, Hohhot, issued a notice, saying it would suspend all onsite activities from that day on, with morning Bible studies and Sunday services conducted in the WeChat group.
The next day, Tongshun Street Church in Yuquan District, Hohhot, announced a halt to all onsite gatherings from Oct 23 till further notice.
