Two churches in Guangxi and Shaanxi held Christmas celebrations two weeks in advance of Christmas day.

On December 12, Sunday, members of the Lily Choir of Beihai Church in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region went to Hepu County Church, which is more than 20 kilometers away, giving a joint Christmas performance.

After a sermon about the birth of Jesus Christ from Rev. Zhang Zhongye, president of the Guangxi Christian Council, the Lily Choir and the choir of Hepu Church gave 11 different performances, such as a waist drum dance, choruses, a dance, a Nativity play, a women’s vocal quartet, solo singing, and a cheongsam show.

On the same day, Tumen Church in Xi'an, Shaanxi, conducted its annual Christmas celebration, which began with two choruses "Silent Night! Holy Night!" and "Listen to Christmas" from the Holy Choir. This was followed by 35 performances, including a wind ensemble "The Heavens Proclaim the Glory of God", an opening drum performance "The First Noel", fan dances, poetry recitations, sign language dances, and programs played in an allegro tempo.

The celebration concluded with the chorus "Joy to the World" from the Holy Choir and a pastor's blessing.
