A church in Jiangsu Province on China's east coast opened a class on local history and culture for its followers.
Changzhou Church in Jiangsu issued a notice on August 5th on its official WeChat account. It stated that it would hold a second training session for believers the next afternoon, aiming to promote the Sinicization of Christianity and carry out the "four enters" activity in religious places, which refers that the national flag of China, the Constitution, laws and regulations, core socialist values, and fine traditional Chinese culture shall enter places of religious activities.
The notice said Mr. Xue Huanbing, president of Changzhou Wu Culture Research Association, editor-in-chief of "Zhong Wu" magazine, and former chairman of Changzhou labor union, was to be invited to give a lecture on the history and culture of Changzhou.
