“To enable believers to effectively communicate with family members”, a centurial church in China’s eastern-coastal Jiangsu Province conducted counseling psychology training to improve believers’ relationships with family members.
Zhai Jie, a part-time counselor from the Psychological Counseling Room in Soochow University, was invited by St. John's Church on August 7 to analyze and explain the deep-seated psychological needs and solving skills of relationship problems such as verbal fights between couples and children's disobedience. A total of ten believers participated in the discussion and consultation, the church said.
"Through this training, Christians troubled by family relationships are expected to grasp communication skills and find breakthroughs of building a happy family," it added.
