Two churches in the Hongkou District of Shanghai will resume in-person gatherings this Sunday.
Allen Memorial Church in the district issued a notice on Wednesday, saying that Allen Memorial Church and Jiangwan Church will resume three onsite Sunday services on August 28, with the starting time remaining unchanged, while Fitch Memorial Church was still in lockdown.
The notice reminded believers to book their place in advance via WeChat or on the door and undergo nucleic acid tests on Saturday. Worshippers are required to prepare their Shanghai health QR code early or bring an ID card or the offline QR code issued by the community within the validity period. They also should sit with masks at intervals as per the social distancing requirements.
