The "Source of Love" Charity Station in Yangpu District carried out a rescue training course on February 3 at the Red Cross Society in Daqiao Street, attended by resident committee cadres and community workers, reported Shanghai CC&TSPM.
Volunteers on the team taught them how to provide first aid for the wounded and sick, deal with foreign body blockage in the airway, dress the wound, and carry out artificial respiration.
In the end, Yangpu District CC&TSPM and the team presented Lantern Festival gifts to the people, with a violin piece named "Empty World" from the head of an orchestra in the team.
To usher in the Lantern Festival, Jiaojiang Church in Taizhou, Zhejiang, conducted some activities. A symposium was hosted for the elderly, who shared their stories with young staff workers, according to the church.
During the seminar, Kong Aiqing, the leader of the church, encouraged believers to stick to pure faith, advocate for science, and resist the infiltration of heresies and cults, guiding them to visit the anti-cult educational base.
Later, local Christians watched the Chinese New Year performance, including the program named "Blessings of God Be Upon You."
