Shanghai Church Cares for Ethnic Minorities in Summer

Recently, the launching ceremony of the summer charity event of caring for ethnic minorities was hosted in Shanghai.

Sponsored by Shanghai Agape Foundation and the Yangpu District CC&TSPM, the charity activity was co-organized by the Yangpu District Ethnic Minority Association (YDEMA) and undertaken by the "Source of Love" Charity Station in Yangpu District the Yangpu District, according to Shanghai Agape Foundation.

During the launching ceremony held at Hudong Church, Xu Yulan, chairman of the Shanghai Christian Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), said that caring for minority groups in the Yangpu District was to reflect and practice that all ethnic and religious groups united as a family, as charity activities and social services were always the fine traditions of Shanghai Christianity.

After the ceremony, officials and leaders of CC&TSPMs in the city and district brought summer supplies to visit Ha Xin, president of YDEMA who is an 88-year-old person living alone and Li Jinlong, the former deputy commander of the Yangpu District Reconstruction Headquarters.
