A church in southeast China's Fujian Province held a service to start the interior decoration of a new church.
In Beimen Church of Ningde City, Lin Shengfeng on March 6 preached a sermon titled "Get Up, Let's Build!", encouraging believers to support and pray for the new church's interior finish and saying small contributions could add up to a large amount to do wonders, said the church.
Located in Jiaocheng District, Ningde City, the new main building of Beimen Church covers a floor area of 1880 square meters (0.46 acres) and a construction area of 5700 square meters (1.41 acres), with a land area of 15.51 mu (2.56 acres). Though the project has raised more than three million yuan, the funding gap for the project is nearly 12 million yuan. When completed, it will be the largest main church building in Ningde City and a landmark church in eastern Fujian.
