Word4Asia Consulting International visited CCC&TSPM, exchanged information about their churches in recent years, and discussed mutual visits and cooperation.
On April 4, Rev. Shen Xuebin, residential vice president of the China Christian Council, received the first batch of American guests in the last three years - Dr. Gene Wood, president of Word4Asia Consulting International, and Executive Director Mrs. Liping Martinez, according to CCC&TSPM.
Dr. Gene Wood has visited Chinese churches many times and has given much support. It has been his first visit to Chinese churches since the epidemic.
Rev. Shen introduced the development of Chinese churches in recent years. He expressed his appreciation for the uniqueness of Word4Asia Consulting International and mentioned his hope that the organization would continue to generate positive publicity for Chinese churches in American churches. At the meeting, Rev. Shen also answered the guests’ questions about Bible publication and distribution, as well as the connotation of the sinicization of Christianity.
Dr. Wood introduced his organization as one focusing on helping Western non-profit organizations understand the policies and regulations of the Chinese mainland and providing consulting services for leadership training and communication skill training for the academic world, government departments, and community groups.
