A plaque from a cultural exhibition hall featuring developing Christianity in the Chinese context was unveiled in East China’s Jiangsu Province.
At Wuxi Church, the ceremony was attended by officials, religious group leaders, and members of the municipal CC&TSPM in Wuxi City on April 10, said CCC&TSPM.
Under the guidance of the United Front Work Department and the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Bureau of the city and district, the gallery was built within half a year, becoming the first physical exhibition hall in Jiangsu Province with the theme of the sinicization of Christianity. In the form of pictures and texts, it presented the historical trace of Christianity in China since the gospel was introduced into China in the Tang Dynasty more than 1300 years ago.
