On the occasion of the 38th birthday of the faith-based Amity Foundation, the Amity Courtyard was opened twice to welcome “Amity friends.”
With a notice for the open day event being released on April 15, 38 “Amity friends” came as scheduled, said the foundation.
Ling Chunxiang, secretary-general of the foundation, expressed her desire that the visitors would learn more about the foundation and become supporters of its work. Tian Meimei, assistant secretary-general of the foundation, shared the organization's history, main accomplishments, and current endeavors in recent years.
After a visit to the foundation's headquarters and exchange with its staff, the participants proceeded to tour the Home Care Service Station located in the Shanshui Yuan Community of Maigaoqiao Street in the Qixia District. They also had lunch at the "Parents Canteen" located in the Qiuyan Yuan Community. Both commonwealth organizations are both run by the Haolaiwu Public Service Center, affiliated with the foundation.
On April 18th, in celebration of the foundation's 38th anniversary, the Amity Courtyard was opened to the public once more. During the event, welfare exhibitions, caring stalls, and interactive experiences were conducted, with the aim of increasing public awareness and involvement in welfare services through engaging activities.
