Believers in Guangdong learned theology and piano as part of their spiritual growth and development.
Chancheng District CC&TSPM in Foshan City held the first session of the theological training class and the second phase of Tianyun Piano Class on April 23 with a total of 52 students. The pastoral staff gave a theological training class comprising six courses, which included Introduction to the New Testament, Introduction to the Old Testament, Brief History of the Church, Life of Jesus, Special Volumes of the New Testament, and Special Volumes of the Old Testament. Music theory knowledge was taught in elementary and intermediate classes at the same time, according to Guangdong CC&TSPM.
In addition to these classes, Rev. Guo Yun, president of Guangdong Christian Council, delivered a special lecture titled "Reflects on Sinicization of Christianity," and Rev. Lei Yuming, executive vice chairman of Guangdong CC&TSPM, gave a lecture on "Talking about the Healthy Development of the Church from Anti-Terrorism, Anti-Infiltration, and Anti-cult."
Furthermore, Rev. Fan Hongen, Rev. Guo, and Pastor Lei, members of the Guangdong Provincial Sinicization of Christianity Propaganda Group, preached sermons on the themes of peace, faithfulness, and love at Lai'en Church and Shengping Church in Chancheng District.
