The delegation of the Guangdong Christian Council and the Three-Self Patriotic Movement (CC&TSPM) paid a visit to major representative Hong Kong organizations in Hong Kong, where they also exchanged views.
During their three-day itinerary, the delegation visited several organizations, which included the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (HKSKH), the Hong Kong Chinese Christian Churches Union (HKCCCU), the Salvation Army Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China, the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hong Kong, the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Christian Council, as reported by Guangdong CC&TSPM. Simultaneously, leaders from different organizations shared the long history of churches in Guangdong and Hong Kong and expressed their opinions on how to further develop the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in the future.
Furthermore, churches in Guangdong and Hong Kong will continue holding joint pastoral work exchange meetings for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region. Through activities such as the Guangdong-Hong Kong exchange meeting for each region's youth representatives and the seminar on the sinicization of Christianity, young and middle-aged pillars of the Hong Kong Christian community will be invited to visit the Guangdong church and participate in well-known representative enterprises or key projects.
