A town church in Shanghai marked a significant milestone as it hosted a dedication ceremony and service to celebrate its relocation after four years of reconstruction.
On June 17th, the Yanghang Church in Baoshan District conducted a dedication ceremony. Elder Zhang Boquan delivered a sermon titled "Let the Glory of God Fill This Temple," citing 2 Chronicles 5:11–14. Following the sermon, the church choir performed hymns, as reported by Shanghai CC&TSPM.
Previously situated in Yanghang Town, the Yanghang Church seized the opportunity for urban transformation and relocation. With the support of the government's land allocation and approval, the church underwent construction at a new address on Jiangyang North Road.
Yanghang Church spans 2,645 square meters (0.65 acres), featuring a floor space of 4,864.75 square meters, segregated into three distinct zones: the worship area, administrative space, and an underground parking lot. The architectural design resembles an ark and can accommodate up to 1,400 individuals for gatherings.
