A training course aimed at middle-aged and young pastoral staff in Hebei Province took place in the provincial capital, Shijiazhuang.
There were about 50 participants in the course, which Hebei CC&TSPM organized, including some middle-aged and young pastoral leaders and members of the provincial CC&TSPM's theological thought construction preaching group. Notably, according to CCC&TSPM, leaders from CC&TSPMs in some province-wide cities were also present during the event.
The course featured professors from the Party School of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and officials from the Religious Affairs Office of the Provincial Committee of the CPC, who were specially invited to deliver lectures on "the spirit of the 20th National Party Congress" and the Measures for the Administration of Religious Personnel, respectively. Additionally, Rev. Kan Baoping, vice chairman of TSPM, was among the guests and offered guidance on the Church Order of Protestant Churches in China. Furthermore, Vice President Luo Chengzan of Hebei Bible School shared insights on "Adhering to the Principle of Developing Christianity in the Chinese Context: Modern Interpretations of Christian Theology."
Following the intensive training, some members of the preaching group embarked on visits to churches in other locations to preach on Sundays.
