Mr. Daniel Loh Kah Cheong, co-director of the United Bible Societies (UBS) China Partnership, visited Liaoning CC&TSPM.

Mr. Daniel Loh visited Panshi Church affiliated with Liaoning CC&TSPM, the library of Northeast Theological Seminary (NTS), and the history museum of NTS in Liaoning Province on July 27th, said CCC&TSPM. Rev. Zhang Yuezhu, president of the Liaoning Christian Council, and Secretary-General Gu Limin of the Liaoning Three-Self Patriotic Movement Committee (TSPM), introduced the recent work of the Liaoning CC&TSPM in areas such as contextualization of Christianity in China, church system construction, and public welfare undertakings.

Loh has a strong interest in the foundational ministry of the Church in China and expressed his willingness to support the Liaoning church in three aspects. Firstly,  in supporting the training of a group of volunteer pastors, especially rural volunteer pastors, helping them to correctly interpret and preach the Bible and nurturing more volunteer pastors through them. Secondly, in supporting and encouraging believers to read the Bible thoroughly and via the use of key figures and stories from the Bible be presented vividly through body language, making the Bible more compelling. Thirdly, in supporting literacy classes for elderly believers to improve their reading abilities.
