The 5th Hymn Singing Concert of Shenzhen churches was held with more than 600 members from 19 choirs in 18 churches.
At Shenzhen Church, the 5th Hymn Singing Concert was organized by the Sacred Music Departments of Shenzhen CC&TSPM on Saturday, July 29th, according to Shenzhen CC&TSPM,
The entirety of the hymn singing event interweaved from the call to worship to the responsive scripture reading. The experience encompassed everything from the prelude to the postlude, creating a connection between diverse church choirs. The musical and spiritual journey encompassed a range of themes including praise, prayer, confession, forgiveness, thanksgiving, trust, supplication, and commitment.
The theme of the concert was “Manifesting Christ through Me”. 18 churches, including Shenzhen Church, Heping Church, and Luohu Church, sent their main choirs to participate in it. Meanwhile, the joint choir of Shenzhen CC&TSPM, together with Shenzhen Church’s Ark Choir and Youth Choir, also sang “Love the Lord Jesus” in the event.
