CCC&TSPM Top Leaders Conduct Researches on Yunnan Churches

The main responsible co-workers of CCC&TSPM conducted research on the churches in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province.

Pastor Xu Xiaohong, chairman of TSPM, and Pastor Wu Wei, president of CCC, and their team of five people conducted research on the churches in Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, during the training conference for teachers of Bible majors and systematic theology majors in the China Christian theological seminary, from August 12 to 13.

The research group first investigated the Lijiang CC&TSPM on August 12. The two sides communicated and shared with each other on how the Christian churches in Lijiang City implement the newly revised “Regulations on Religious Affairs” and its supporting schemes, group construction, the implementation of the “Regulations of the Christian Churches in China”, the pastoral staff of the churches, the situation of believers’ gatherings after the epidemic, as well as the outstanding problems and difficulties that exist at present, etc.

Afterwards, the research group investigated Yulong County CC. Rev. Li Zhi, vice president of Yunnan CC and Chairman of Yulong CC&PSTM, introduced the basic information of Yulong CC&PSTM.

In the seminar, Pastor Xu Xiaohong emphasized the need to further strengthen the organizational construction of CC&TSPM, to effectively play the role of CC&TSPM as bridges and ties, and to firmly resist foreign infiltration.

The research group worshiped at the fixed premises after the village in Xi’an Street, Gucheng District, Lijiang City.

Pastor Xu said that he was very happy to worship God together with the multi-ethnic believers and mentioned that we need to combine with our country, our culture, and our fine traditions so that the church will be more able to glorify God and benefit people. 

During the service, believers from the fixed premise also sang hymns in Mosuo, Naxi, and Lisu languages.
