In order to promote the flourishing of literature and art to the Asian Games, Hangzhou YMCA organized a fan meeting for Lu Lanqing recently, a soprano singer.
As the heir to “Lu’s Singing Method”, Ms. Lu Lanqing, was honored by “World DSJJNS” as the world’s “highest voice, widest vocal range, and top singing” performer in 1999.
Lu Lanqing introduced the unique Lu Tongue-commanded Singing Technique through speech and singing, according to Hangzhou YMCA. The fans sang a few lines and followed Ms. Lu to experience a singing style different from the traditional one. They also asked Lu to take a look at the physiological structure of their laryngeal apparatus and oral cavity in order to evaluate the voice part that suits them, with answers from Ms. Lu one by one.
The meeting not only set up a platform for YMCA’s Huai’ai Choir members to learn and communicate but also significantly enhance professional development in the social work of Hangzhou YMCA.
