To nurture students holistically, Henan Theological Seminary kicked off the 2023 Annual Sports Meeting.
The student union organized the sports meeting, which featured five events—tug of war, chess, five-in-a-row, table tennis, and basketball shooting—with 144 students from four grades taking part, according to CCC&TSPM.
During the awards ceremony on December 6, Rev. Tang Weimin, president of the seminary, stressed that with sound bodies, theological students could bear toughness. President Tang also exhorted the faculty and students to run on the path of spiritual growth through the Apostle Paul’s teachings on competition.
