A megachurch in Zhejiang organized a series of charity events at the start of the new year.
On January 2, Chongyi Church in Hangzhou hosted a charity sale and donation event with the participation of the local believers, reported Hangzhou Municipal CC&TSPM.
Rev. Zhang Zhongcheng, chairman of the municipal TSPM and senior pastor of the Chongyi Church, paid visits to Ren’ai Homeland, Sijiqing Occupational Therapy Station, and Sijiqing Street Sanitation Station, extending care to three needy elderly in Qianjiangyuan Community.
On the second day of the New Year, Chongyi Church visited needy people and offered them financial support and food with the proceeds from the charity sale held last December 10.
