As the third Sunday of June is Father's Day, three churches from Guangzhou, Guangdong, held relative activities.
Shamian Christian Church in Guangdong held an activity on June 15 with the theme of “Gratitude for Father's Love, Discuss Mission Together, Build Families Together” in the church bookstore. The activity included dining, games, communications, music, etc.
On June 16, Guangxiao Christian Church held a series of special activities. The morning and afternoon sermons were delivered by the preacher, Song Guangyue. In the evening, an evangelistic meeting titled “The Story of Faith” was held. On that day, the church prepared customized gifts for every father. It also organized church members of different ages to record short videos of celebrating Father's Day, which were played in the morning and afternoon services. At the same time, a special Father's Day photo booth was set up on the first floor, where family members could take interactive photos.
In Guangdong Union Church, believers gathered together to sing songs and pray for their fathers to celebrate the festival. In addition to distributing gifts, the church also organized a unique dumpling-packing activity.
