On July 7, Dushu Lake Christian Church in Suzhou, Jiangsu held a baptism and communion service, during which 45 seekers were baptized.
The service was officiated by Deputy Senior Pastor Piao Zhiming of the church, with Teacher Wu Qiong delivering a sermon titled "Signs of Grace," said Suzhou CC&TSPM. During the service, Rev. He Jiemiao, president of the Jiangsu Christian Council and senior pastor of the church, conducted the baptism ceremony for the 45 followers of Jesus. Following this, Reverend Piao presided over the communion service, where the 45 newly baptized believers received the cup and bread for the first time.
Located in the White Egret Park by Dushu Lake in the Industrial Park of Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Dushu Lake church covers a total area of 5,619 square meters (1.39 acres), consisting of three parts: the main building, the pastor's building, and the bell tower. The first worship service was held in April 2010. The second floor of the main building can accommodate 1,000 people, and the first floor has four small chapels, each capable of holding over 200 people.
