The 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held its third plenary session in Beijing from July 15 to 18.
They adopted a resolution on further deepening reform comprehensively to advance Chinese modernization, referring to religious policy, said the Xinhua News Agency.
The eighth point is "improving the system of whole-process people's democracy," mentioning building a broad united front. It states, "systematically promoting the sinicization of religions in our country and strengthening the rule of law framework in the administration of religious affairs."
