Zhejiang Theological Seminary Signs Contract With Software Company to Forge Digital Platform

Zhejiang Theological Seminary hosted a signing ceremony for the construction of an integrated digital platform for a smart campus.

The signing ceremony with Zhejiang Qineng Software Co., Ltd. was presided over on August 20 by Rev. Pan Xingwang, president of Zhejiang Theological Seminary, and was attended by seven other staff workers, including Vice President Rev. Chen Xiaolang and Assistant President and Director of the Student Affairs Office Rev. Zheng Rongda.

After comparing multiple software companies, the seminary reached a project consensus with Zhejiang Qineng Software Co., Ltd. The company will develop an integrated digital platform for the seminary covering 14 modules, including but not limited to management for teaching, staff and students, residents and visitors, security and energy, campus logistics, the library, and resources as well as classroom interaction. The modules will also include mobile applications, AI large models, information flow, and comprehensive data analysis. 

The seminary said on its official WeChat account, "Through the deep integration of information technology and theological education, the platform will provide comprehensive and multi-faceted educational services for faculty and students, enabling information sharing and real-time communication. Additionally, we will build innovative smart classrooms to meet the diverse teaching needs of faculty and students, promote innovation in teaching interaction, and provide data support for faculty research activities."
