Linyi CC&TSPM in Shangdong province hosted the fifth session of the “Yihe Forum” sinicization training program, a five-day project for clergy management.
During the training session conducted from August 13 to 17, Rev. Zhang Yaofa, president of Zhejiang Christian Council (CC) and the Hangzhou CC and senior pastor of Gulou Church in Hangzhou, was invited to deliver a lecture titled "Pastoral Conflicts and Church Management," according to Linyi TSPM. He analyzed the types and causes of pastoral conflicts and taught effective ways to resolve them. Additionally, he provided insights into church management concepts, principles, and techniques for effective church governance.
Rev. Sun Yaguo, vice president and general secretary of Hangzhou CC, gave a lecture titled "Learning to Be a Good Shepherd—A Brief Discussion on the Morality and Conduct of Pastoral Workers." He discussed how to enhance personal qualities, cultural and moral standards, and become useful talents for the church in the new era by focusing on pastoral image, true character, challenges, and development.
The training program also included practical teaching through field observations and patriotic education. Participants visited the Daqingshan Victory Breakout Memorial Hall, the Demonstration Site for the process of sinicization in Fei county, and other socially advanced units for exchanges and learning.
