A church in Jiangsu held a burial service for a pastor who died at the age of 102.
Gongxiang Church in Suzhou held a burial service for Rev. Cao Fuxing, who passed away on July 13, at the Yaonan Cemetery in Hengjing Subdistrict, said the church. In the service presided over by Rev. Hua Wei, two Christian women, Sun Xiaoping and Yao Huiling, who had long cared for Reverend Cao, recalled his virtuous words and deeds. After the benediction by Pastor Xu Enbei, Cao's coffin was laid to rest, buried alongside his wife, Elder Wang Qimin.
"While remembering him, we also strive to emulate his pure heart, devotion, and dedication to the Lord," said the church.
